“I am happy to see books such as this one…  The Dharma King clearly demonstrates the link between causes and their effect. …and [our]  collective responsibility for the future of the world.”
His Holiness the  17th Karmapa

The Dharma King

Like  the book Nine and a Half Fingers, this is a Tibetan folk tale about karma. It is written and illustrated to capture the attention of boys.

They will enjoy the phantasmagorical illustrations, based on Thangka art done by Sonam, a young Tibetan refugee and professionally trained Thangka painter.

In the back of the book, readers will learn of Sonam’s life in Tibet and his heroic escape over the Himalayas.
